![]() |
Furoshiki, Japanese Art of Wrapping Gifts with Fabric Waslijn.com Originating from Japanese culture where it promotes caring for the environment and reducing waste; Furoshiki is the eco-friendly wrapping cloth. Using techniques similar to origami, it can be used for gift wrapping, grocery shopping or simply as decor. Choose from a wide variety of sizes and designs to complement your lifestyle. Why furoshiki? It is reusable and multipurpose. Each year billions of plastic bags end up as litter; reusable bags, such as furoshiki can help reduce the impact to our environment. Its versatility allows you to wrap almost anything regardless of its shape or size. Furoshiki.com or take a look at the tutorial by greenUPGRADER. |

Stamp with sound
In Bhutan they gave in 1973 postage stamps with sound, in the form of grammophone records. These philatelic products are playable on a special small grammophone player. I show you the smallest green one. What's on this little sound carrier you want to know? Well ... I take it to different pieces of folk music, the history of Bhutan and the official national anthem. Everything in English and Bhutan.

Different Shades

Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf, So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day Nothing gold can stay. Robert Frost |
Green Rocking Chicken
“Green chicken: The chicken, a rather unexplored shape, found its place amongst my green dreams. I wanted to portray this common bird as a sensational object by amplifying its characteristics and dimensions, turning it into a modern piece, one of great beauty and utility: a rocking chair. The movement, subtle and constant, would give the object a zoom-like trait, a sense of speed and dynamism. My green chicken had taken on a face, a shape, a place and a function.”
